The BenQ AK700ST is a dedicated short-throw projector specifically designed for golf simulators. Producing 4K UHD resolution and HDR10/HLG support to deliver a high-quality visual experience for realistic course renderings and accurate ball flight simulations.

BenQ works with top course designers to replicate the subtle details of different grasses and cloudscapes for maximum realism in the most advanced golf sim software. With it’s exclusive golf mode setting, when selected, the projector’s colour processing is optimised to faithfully replicate the organic hues of fairways, rough, sand traps, and water hazards as they appear on the actual course. Golf mode enables you to enjoy realistic, lifelike courses just as golf course designers intended.

The AK700ST incorporates a short-throw lens, enabling users to project a large image from a close distance. This minimises shadows and obstructions from the golfer’s swing, ensuring a safe and enjoyable playing environment. Additionally, features like Auto Screen Fit and corner correction simplify setup and allow for flexible placement within the golf simulator setup. HOW MUCH SPACE/HEIGHT DO I NEED TO SWING A GOLF CLUB?

We recommend an absolute minimum height of 2.8m (9.2ft) although we recommend the ideal height to be 3m (9.8ft). This way you will feel comfortable swinging any club.

We recommend a minimum width of 3m (9.8ft).

The minimum depth recommended is 4m (13.1ft) for a photometric system and 5m (16.4ft) for a radar based launch monitor.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO BE DELIVERED?

HOW EASY IS IT TO ASSEMBLE A SIMBOX ENCLOSURE?

They are designed to be very straightforward to erect and dismantle. The whole process should take about 30 minutes. Each kit comes with a step-by-step video guide to help you along the way.

IS AN IMPACT SCREEN INCLUDED WITH A SIMBOX?

Yes an HD Simbox screen is included along with poles black enclosure and everything you will need. There is also an upgraded screen variant, which is more durable for heavier use, this can be available upon request.

Unlike most suppliers we offer a minimum of 6 months warranty on all our screens for peace of mind. Please ensure you use clean balls and clubs to extend the life of your screen as they will need to be replaced from time to time.
